Learn How to Buy Gold Bullion ...

Gold bullion is commonly bought by people in order to increase the people’s asset base. It is rarely collected because of hobby with the exemption of really rich people. Buying gold bullion may be risky when you don’t know what you are dealing with. So before you go and buy gold bullion, learn the dos and don’ts of the game first.

Select a trusted mint or dealer of bullion gold. Get a certificate if necessary. Most of the time, certificates are essential for people who want to resell the gold bullion. Small gold bullion brings in more money in time. As soon as you have paid for the bullion gold, it will be delivered shortly. But if you want to get a hold of those bullions right away, you may choose to have for your safekeeping right after the payment. This however, should be done only if you have a safe storage of the gold and if you have enough security.

Eating Out – One of the Bigges ...

I have copiously written down all our expenses for the month of November and would you believe that one of our biggest expenses is eating out.  I couldn’t believe it myself because ever since we moved here we only go out once a week tops.  I vowed to keep the fastfood expenses to a minimum but guess where we were again yesterday?  Yes, we were out all day eating our heart’s out at McDonalds for lunch and at the food court for dinner.  So there goes our budget and it’s not even the end of November yet.

Say No To Plastic Cards ...

I have been talking about budgeting. I’m sad that although I’ve been a wife for five years now I am still no good at it. Maybe if we are earning gold bullion we won’t have this problem. LOL!

Anyway, I’m just glad we have managed to be debt free after all these years. This year we got our first ever credit card and although we managed to stay out of debt unlike the horror stories I hear I have told my husband we really should stop using it. Having a credit card made us careless in buying things and I understand now why people get huge debts just by paying with their plastic cards.

So this month we have started to say no to our plastic card. I’m glad that for the first time I would be seeing our paychecks in full. That’s one reason to celebrate, right? :)

Budgeting ...

I’ve been religiously jotting down our daily expenses for the past days.  I don’t know about you but I’m always wondering where our money goes!  Hubby is also cooperating even though I told him he doesn’t need to.  He still tells me his expenses for the day.

As I’ve said we’ve only been doing this for the a few days but I think I’ve seen something good come out of it.  If before we’re seriously out of budget just a few days after payday, now we’re able to stretch our money a bit.  We’re still a bit short but at least it’s only for a small amount.  I’m positive we’ll get the hang of budgeting our money as time passes.

Gold Bars ...

Investing in gold bars is a wise decision. I read Francisco Colayco’s book about financial literacy and one thing he said again and again was to invest your money in something that would beat inflation. Just keeping it in your bank is not wise because the interest rate is so low that pretty soon inflation will take over it.

He suggested investing into mutual funds and we have already started doing that. However, I heard that gold is also a good investment because its value keeps on appreciating as time passes. We might definitely try this because we want our money to be able to beat inflation. I heard it’s already convenience now to buy gold and you can even have it delivered for safekeeping directly to your bank.

Investing on Gold ...

Saving money is really hard. We are always being bombarded by product advertisements on TV, radio, and internet that as soon as we receive our money we are often that not out of the door trying to spend it. I’m quite frugal by normal standards but that doesn’t mean I don’t have periods of careless spending. That’s why sometimes, no matter how much I try to save I still fail.

This can be really frustrating that’s why I’m thinking next time I will just buy gold. At least it’s harder to spend gold than money, right? Also, gold appreciates in time so my money is intact and at the same time I am assured that my investment is beating inflation.

Gold Coins ...

As a work-at-home mom, I have no benefits to speak of. That is why I am more careful with how I spend my hard earned money. I want to be able to save as soon as possible so my husband and I can open a legitimate business. I am satisfied with my earning now but I’m not foolish enough to think that this will last forever.

One way to make sure that our money is safe and beating inflation is by investing it. I heard it’s wise to buy gold coins as an investment because these appreciate in value over time. I would like to try this but I’m not quite sure how so I will research on this first.  But from what I heard so far, I think it’s going to be something we will try in the near future.

A Loan for a Laptop ...

Our friend is thinking of getting a laptop.  One which costs P32.k.  I’m quite envious because I want one too but I guess I still don’t need it since the three-year-old laptop I’m using is still working well and has no defects yet.  Thank God for this blessing.  This baby is the one that really helped me in my journey towards earning online.

Anyway, our friend is asking for our help to pay for his laptop.  He doesn’t have a credit card and as you know, 0% interest deals are popular nowadays.  He said he can pay 1/3 of the amount but he wants our help so he can pay the remaining amount on a monthly basis.  We want to help him because he’s a dear friend of ours but our credit limit is not that high.  If we charge it to our card then we won’t be able to use it anymore for our needs until he pays the amount.

Anyway, so not to disappoint him I would tell my hubby to just help him find a cheaper one.  If he’s really set into buying that one we’ll just suggest he get a payday advance loan.  I’m sure there are a lot of reputable companies willing to lend him the money because he’s got a stable job.  The benefits of a payday advance is even people with bad credit history can avail of one and you can get the loan within 24 hours after processing.

Tips for Securing a Payday Loan ...

Securing a loan is not easy. Many lenders worry about borrowers defaulting and lost investments. This is especially true for payday loan industry that attracts a large number of borrowers and lenders. However, with increasing instances of frauds and defaults, both lenders and borrowers have become wary of the market. A number of legislations have been drafted and enforced for the industry. The following tips will go a long way in helping borrowers get loans easily.

First and foremost, honesty is the best policy. It is very easy for payday loan lenders to verify pay slips, employment histories and banking details. Any discrepancies will automatically disqualify you for the loan. To make things worse, many lenders check with other lenders before finalizing the transaction. A lie will hurt your chances with almost every lender in the area.

Shop for the best rates. Like banks, payday loan lenders offer different to different customers depending upon the circumstances and the perceived risk. Get recommendations from your friends. Some lenders kick the interest rate down for a reference from a reliable customer. Internet has made it easy to seek out the best deals in the area. Many websites offer rate comparisons and promote special deals by reliable lenders.

Finally read the fine print. All financial documents carry fine print and payday loan documentation is no exception. It is here that many unscrupulous lenders bury traps under legal and financial jargon. To counter this, familiarize yourself with the technical terms of the industry. Always confirm that the interest rates and fees mentioned in the contract are the same as agreed upon.

Generally, a lender is as wary of a bad deal a borrower. Majority of the players in payday loan industry are honest people. It is because of a few rotten apples that the industry gets a bad reputation.

Finding Your Own Niche ...

Hubby excitedly told me some of his plans yesterday. He said he’s thinking of opening up a guitar tutorial for kids and a pet shop. Living in our current place makes this probable because we’re living in a densely populated area. There are a lot of people especially kids! Hubby is an excellent guitarist but would you believe that is not his finest trait. He is patient, sympathetic, and a joy to be with that’s why I think his students would be very lucky to have him as a teacher. Just seeing him with our five year old son and how he has influenced him at such a young age to pick up his guitar and make music – well, I may be biased but I think he’s just amazing! Sometimes I just look at them in awe bonding together.

I’m glad hubby and I are finally able to eye-to-eye. Before he thought he had no option but work in an office until he retires.  After my work-at-home stint, I realized we can make a living even without being an office employee. If it were up to me I would rather that he take a break from his stressful lifestyle as soon as possible and relax with a macanudo in his fingers.  I wish I can give him the opportunity to really take a break and find earning opportunities  that is suited to his interests just like the break he gave me three years ago that allowed me to find my niche.  That is one of my motivations in working hard.
