I have been using my glasses ever since I was in high school. Fitting my first pair of eye glasses was a bittersweet experience for me. I was sad because having glasses would officially seal my reputation as a geek and you know that being geeky is not cool when you’re in high school. At the same time, I was overjoyed upon realizing that I was missing a lot because of my poor eyesight. Two decades later, I am glad wearing glasses has become fashionable. Because of the advent of trendy glasses frames that accentuate a person’s face, even people with no eye problem are opting to wear one. For the first time in years I’m glad that I get to wear my eyeglasses and be still fashionable. I have tried wearing contact lenses for a while but being a mom of two, it is not really practical for me to do so. That is why I compensate by choosing eyeglasses that suit me well.
