I can’t believe it!  I have exhausted my all my tasks.  So now I have nothing to do – oh that’s not accurate at all.  I still have tons to do but those can wait.  So just to celebrate I will be having my day off today.  I won’t be doing anything blog related for the whole day and that’s a promise!

Okay, so what does a work-at-home mom do when she doesn’t have work?  Well, spend quality time with her kids, of course.  So today we will play the whole day and watch television and eat to our heart’s content.  This is a time to celebrate and I’m happy I can just take the day off just like that.

I’ve been seeing some pests in this old house that we’re living in.  What I hate most are the mice and the cockroaches.  Like the other day, I discovered there were some of roaches hiding at the back of our cabinet.  I also saw two tiny mice running around the kitchen last night.

When I’m out with my son I always fear for his safety. I think about what I would do if I lose sight of him and somehow lose him in a crowded mall or street. LOL!  It would have been nice to see Earth from outer space.  Anyway, maybe I’ll win the lotto tomorrow and I can afford the tickets next week.  Okay, you can wake me up now. hehe

Investing in gold bars is a wise decision. I read Francisco Colayco’s book about financial literacy and one thing he said again and again was to invest your money in something that would beat inflation. Just keeping it in your bank is not wise because the interest rate is so low that pretty soon inflation will take over it.

He suggested investing into mutual funds and we have already started doing that. However, I heard that gold is also a good investment because its value keeps on appreciating as time passes. We might definitely try this because we want our money to be able to beat inflation. I heard it’s already convenience now to buy gold and you can even have it delivered for safekeeping directly to your bank.
