The rains have already started in this side of the world. I thought we’re done with our home repairs but it turned out there are still leaks here and there that we have to fix. We can’t call motor home repairs because we’re just living in a plain old bungalow but good thing we can do the repairs ourselves. With just a can of Vulcaseal we can hopefully fix the leaks in no time. Tomorrow, I would ask Bam to go up the roof while I supervise at the second floor window. I hope our leftover Vulcaseal is enough to seal all the leaks.

We watched Salt the other night. Thanks to Nuffnang for giving us the free tickets. I was initially worried Z wouldn’t be let inside the theater because he is only five years old but after I called the cinema I was informed he was good to go.

There were a lot of errands we had to do first before we were finally able to go to the cinema. Not to mention the fact that we got lost on the way. It’s been a long time since hubby has gone to Greenbelt and he was taken aback by the newly erected buildings. We had to go around a block twice before finally finding a parking lot and then just when we were halfway to the cinema he remembered he forgot his wallet inside the car! So we were more than happy when finally, we were able to go inside the cinema and sit on comfortable chairs.

Salt is a spy thriller featuring the famous Angelina Jolie. We were glued the entire time to the screen. There were lots of nerve wracking action scenes and chasing scenes that even our little boy loved. I have to hold my breathe a lot of times and pray that the industrial handles the heroine, Evelyn Salt, hang onto is sturdy enough to hold her weight. In the end, there was a twist in the movie that took me by surprise.

The only thing I don’t like is Angelina Jolie’s dreadful wigs. Angelina is famous for her beauty and beautiful body but that movie made her look so ugly. She is too skinny and the hair didn’t suit her at all. They could have made her look like a glamorous spy if they wanted to but they didn’t and that’s why I was disappointed.

Anyway, other people may not agree with me but just watch the movie and give me your verdict.

One of the real estate tips I’ve learned is that if you can buy foreclosures as part of your real estate portfolio then go ahead as foreclosed properties are more cheaper.

It was our dream to buy a foreclosed house before. We searched for the requirements online and even thought of attending a seminar so we could learn how. We became interested in foreclosed properties after learning how expensive the house and lots are in the metro.

Well, it seems God has a different plan for us as now we have a house – not our own but we’re living here for free and by ourselves thanks to the generosity of my MIL. We’re quite contented but I still wish in the near future we’ll be able to experience buying our own property – whether foreclosed or brand new. It’s still different when you acquire something out of your own money. The satisfaction of knowing that you own something because of your hard work is indeed priceless.

I don’t remember Z moving this early when he was still in my tummy but I’m sure that’s because I was then busy with my call center work, confused and scared being it was my first time and all.  So I was quite surprised when three weeks ago I felt baby moving in my tummy.  At first I thought it was just my imagination but then it occurred so frequently and consistently every day that I finally accepted it’s real and that it’s baby moving inside.  I don’t know how I can describe it to you but it’s like a bubble popping inside my stomach.  It doesn’t hurt but it sure feels weird.  I can definitely see some of baby’s personality as early as now, would you believe?  Baby moves more aggressively when I’m lying on my stomach or sideways.  I think baby doesn’t like it!  So sorry baby, I’m not used sleeping on my back but I guess I have to learn quick.  I definitely get your message loud and clear.  LOL!

Hubby excitedly told me some of his plans yesterday. He said he’s thinking of opening up a guitar tutorial for kids and a pet shop. Living in our current place makes this probable because we’re living in a densely populated area. There are a lot of people especially kids! Hubby is an excellent guitarist but would you believe that is not his finest trait. He is patient, sympathetic, and a joy to be with that’s why I think his students would be very lucky to have him as a teacher. Just seeing him with our five year old son and how he has influenced him at such a young age to pick up his guitar and make music – well, I may be biased but I think he’s just amazing! Sometimes I just look at them in awe bonding together.

I’m glad hubby and I are finally able to eye-to-eye. Before he thought he had no option but work in an office until he retires.  After my work-at-home stint, I realized we can make a living even without being an office employee. If it were up to me I would rather that he take a break from his stressful lifestyle as soon as possible and relax with a macanudo in his fingers.  I wish I can give him the opportunity to really take a break and find earning opportunities  that is suited to his interests just like the break he gave me three years ago that allowed me to find my niche.  That is one of my motivations in working hard.

We’re going away for two days!  Last week, we rode the PNR train for the first time and later this morning we’re doing it again.  I tell you I’m loving the PNR train.  Imagine, we can go to Caloocan in as short as an hour.  We don’t have to sit through traffic and we don’t have to pay a lot for a comfortable trip either.  The train is fully airconditioned and everything is clean.  The only thing I can ask is that they get more trains  as a lot of people are already using this mode of transportation.  I don’t blame them because this train is really a gift to us commuters.  Thank you, PNR!

Xbox 360 games are not that cheap.  That is why we have to take utmost care of the games we buy so that we can enjoy it a long time.  Your most common enemy in an xbox 360 game is a scratch.  Normally, you can get away with a scratch with a CD or a DVD but the xbox gaming disc is so compact with information that a single tiny scratch can make the game worthless.

If you want to avoid this kind of incident what you need to do is backup your gaming disc.  Do not worry, this is perfectly legal as long as you bought your game legally.  Once you have made a backup of your game you can play using your backup thereby insuring that your original xbox 360 gaming disc is safely intact.  If you scratch the backup game then you can just make another backup and your problem is solved.

I can’t believe that the news about Charice having botox has spread faster than wildfire!  That’s just proof that Charice is really a famous international artist.  Filipinos are already too familiar with cosmetic surgeon, Vicky Belo, giving procedures to the stars as part of her publicity stunt but this time it backfired big time.  Now Charice is receiving some backlash from the international press and even from the infamous celebrity blogger, Perehilton.  Charice should have been more careful with her actions and not let Belo sweet talk her into doing that procedure – publicly!  She gained nothing than bad publicity while Belo is now more famous than ever.  I hope Glee still retains her despite this mishap.
