Learning at home can be fun and easy. For Z to learn the properties of water, I prepared three bottles of water and then we put one in the freezer, covered one and put it in the terrace, and left the last bottle uncovered in the terrace.
Before that we marked the volume of the water so we’ll know what will happen next.
Z already knew that the water in the freezer would turn into ice and he already had an idea that water will evaporate because of the sun but seeing is believing right?

I’m so happy to find this blog! I thought I was the only one who tried to do fun, developmental activities with her kid. Since your kids are older, I look forward to doing these more advanced activities. For now, I focus on toddler stuff less than 2yo– ABCs, shapes, reading, singing, simple cooking/baking. I’m introducing the paints and other crafts little by little. Hope you and your readers of littler toddlers can come visit me: http://www.childsplaymanila.wordpress.com
Have a great day!
